Update: Back in the USA...for now!
Haven't updated this blog in a long time...
I have been back in the states since January, and am now planning to move to Canada.
Slowly, my bicycle here is being upgraded, at first from 7 speeds to 8 speeds, al within the Shimano 600 lineup.
Not my photo, but same group.
Later this week I will be upgrading to 10 speeds, and changing to Microshift. I was able to purchase a whole 10 speed set of Microshift "White" on eBay the other day. Can't wait to try it out!
The shifters look great, and will look even better on my red cannondale! I will have to get used to the new levers though, although I've read that their shifting is quite crisp.

I'll be able to put these to a really good test this July, with a ride from Montreal to New York.

Allo,
ReplyDeleteDid you do this trip ?
How did it goes ?
I'd like to do a rollerskate strip from Montréal to Washington DC.
Why did you choose to go to St jean Sur Richelieu and not use the road Rang Saint André to go to Lacolle ... ?
I had that trip in mind.
Kind regards
